To Florus 2.12

Rejoicing, then, in this comfort of faith, let us press on with the work we have begun and fulfill our promise to argue the case. We do not doubt that this itself is a very great part of our reward: we stand in the citadel of a doctrine which, though attacked by the envy of so many and the error of still more, has risen so far above uncertain fortunes that it enjoys an invincible reputation, holding victory in its possession.
