Law no longer pedagogue; Sermon perfection
So then the Law must no longer be our pedagogue. (Gal 3:24-25) We converse with the Father; we stand in his presence face to face, become children without malice, firm in all righteousness and purity. (Mt 18:3)
The Law no longer needs to say ‘Do not commit adultery’ to one who does not even think of another’s wife; ‘Do not kill’ to one who has driven anger and hatred from the heart; ‘You shall not covet your neighbor’s field or ox or donkey’ to those who make no account of earthly goods but store treasure in heaven; ‘Eye for eye, tooth for tooth’ to one who has no enemy but treats all as neighbor and so cannot raise a hand for revenge. (Mt 5:21-48; Mt 6:19-21)
The Law will no longer exact the tithe from one who has consecrated all goods to God and left father, mother, and all his own to follow the Word of God. (Mt 19:21; Lk 14:26) Even the demons and all rebellious powers obey that Word.
