The Passover is not a type of the passion
For we must sacrifice the true sheep, if we have been made priests or offer equally with the priests, and we must roast and we must eat his flesh. And if this has not happened in the passion of the Savior, then his passion is not a type of the Passover. The Passover becomes a type of Christ himself, who is sacrificed by us.
