Commentary on John, Book 28 · §13

Yes, Lord; I have believed that you are the Christ

She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I have believed that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”

The confession is good; yet works must also agree with faith concerning the glory of God.
