Against Julian 6.26.83

Augustine reports Julian’s two main claims in his four books: original sin should not be believed, and sexual desire cannot be blamed without condemning marriage.

He also reports Julian’s claim that he has undertaken war against the ungodly and stands with the patriarchs, prophets, apostles, martyrs, and priests. Julian alleges that a company of Manicheans is defeating him.
