To Florus 3.60

Produce, then, at least one pronouncement of the law against the great authority of the witnesses we have brought forward, against manifest justice and clear reason—a pronouncement through which you can show you were deceived. I add that last phrase because even if some passage seemed, through ambiguous wording, to indicate such a thing, the brilliance and teaching of other pronouncements would compel it to be explained in a way consistent with justice.
