To Florus 2.94

But none of these things we have mentioned is known to happen to baptized people’s bodies. And truth, clearer than the sun, has shown that full healing could not—or rather should not—take place except by these methods of treatment. You must therefore confess either that the things we listed earlier did not arise through sin and so were not wounds of nature, thus preserving a coherent account of grace, which plainly has not displaced them from their order; or else you must deny that Christ’s mysteries contain any medicine at all, since they have not been able to heal even one of the many diseases you describe.
