For he has once again produced monuments to his ability and his faith: things exceedingly hard to understand, extremely difficult to explain, and scarcely bearable to hear without horror. Yet they are very easy to refute and to pierce through with the sharpest blows; out of respect for decency, they ought to be banished into oblivion.
