Scriptures attest the preexisting Son as king and savior
This is what the Scriptures attest: the Christ is the Son of God who exists before all creation. Without ceasing to be with the Father and beside him, the Christ has drawn ever nearer and joined himself to human beings; he is king of the universe, since the Father has placed all that exists under his dominion, and he is savior of those who believe in him. (Col 1:15-17; Mt 28:18; Jn 3:16)
It is impossible to cite every text that could support this thesis; but the texts already quoted light up others like them, if you believe in the Christ and ask God for wisdom and understanding to grasp all that the prophets have said. (Jas 1:5; Lk 24:27)
