Matthew 11:16–17
Just as when some children dance and others mourn, their will does not settle into one thing (for both blame companions who do not agree with them), something like that happened to the Jews: they accepted neither John’s gloom nor Christ’s ease, and were helped by neither manner.

13 Πόλεις δὲ τοῦ Ἰσραήλ φησι καὶ τῶν πιστῶν τὰ συστήματα, ἅτινα ἕως τῆς συντελείας τοῦ αἰῶνός εἰσιν καὶ οὐ παύονται οἱ διδάσκον τες καὶ οἱ διδασκόμενοι ἕως τῆς δευτέρας ἐπιφανείας τοῦ κυρίου. καὶ δοκοῦσι ζῆν ἕως τότε οἱ μαθηταὶ καὶ εὐαγγελισταὶ ἐπείπερ ἐκ τῶν συγ γραμμάτων αὐτῶν ἅπαντες διδάσκουσιν.
