1The preacher lends the Lord’s coin: The words of the Lord are pure words, silver refined. Bad teaching is rejected silver; good teaching yields interest. I desire mercy and not sacrifice.

Pecunia Domini sunt eloquia Domini — argentum igne probatum. Si male doceo, pecunia mea reproba; si bene, fenus iustum. Misericordiam volo quam sacrificium.

2 Those blessed by him shall inherit the land, but those cursed by him shall be cut off. Glory to Christ. Amen.
