On Pascha · §1.76

Exodus 12:8–9

And after we have been anointed — that is, have believed in Christ — then we are also commanded to come to the eating of Christ, as the next words show: And they shall eat the meats this night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread on bitter herbs they shall eat. You shall not eat of them raw, nor boiled in water, but roasted with fire, the head with the feet and the inwards.
