How the Hebrews keep the Passover
And thus the Hebrews keep Passover: from the tenth one must take the sheep by houses and by families, and still feed them the eleventh and twelfth and thirteenth, and name them, saying: "This sheep is sacrificed for this one and that one" — their names not exceeding eighteen — and on the fourteenth it is sacrificed in the midst of the evenings. So from the taking of the sheep until the sacrificing there are five days. And this used to take place according to the sensible.
