Beginning and first

Since then a beginning does not in every case have the first, but the first in every case has the beginning, he says that this month is a beginning of months and first of the months of the year for them.

Τῆς οὖν ἀρχῆς ο[ὐ] πάντως ἐχούσης τὸ πρῶ[τον], τοῦ δὲ πρώτου πάντως ἔ[χοντ]ος τὴν ἀρχήν, λέγει τ[ὸν μ]ῆνα τοῦτον ἀρχὴν μη[νῶ]ν καὶ πρῶτον τῶν μηνῶ[ν τ]οῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ αὐτοῖς εἶνα[ι].
