For that the perfect has a beginning of another birth and becomes another than what he was, the apostle teaches us. At one time he says: "The old man was crucified with Christ"; and again: "If we died with him, we shall also live with him." And of himself he says plainly: "I live no longer I, but Christ lives in me."
