Offerings after the principles of Leviticus

We spoke before of Leviticus’s beginnings; now comes the law of sacrifices called gifts. A soul that sins from among the people — not always willfully, but in ignorance — brings an offering. Synagogue and soul are read as types.

Superior de principiis Levitici dictum est; nunc lex sacrificiorum quae munera appellantur. Anima quae peccaverit ex populo — non voluntate semper, sed ignorantia — munus offert. Synagoga et anima typice leguntur.
