2In tribulation they cry to the Lord. Tribulation converts. He hears penitents’ groans.

Othniel the savior§3
3He raised a savior, Othniel — “God’s time for me.” The Lord’s Spirit on him; he judged Israel; the land rested.

When the judge dies§4
4When Othniel died they again did evil. Without the judge comes relapse. Let Christ our judge always live in us. Amen.
