Εἰκὸς ὅτι ἔλεγον Ἀβραὰμ ἀπέθανεν καὶ οἱ προφῆται, μεμαθηκότες πῶς δι᾽ ἑνὸς ἀνθρώπου ἡ ἁμαρτία εἰς τὸν κόσμον εἰσῆλθεν καὶ διὰ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ὁ θάνατος.

Οὐχ ᾔδεισαν δὲ ὅτι οὐχ ὡς τὸ παράπτωμα, οὕτως καὶ τὸ χάρισμα.
