The Jews’ retort and Jesus’ honor of the Father
The Jews answered, “Are we not right that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?” He answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me.”
The one who honors the Father does not have a demon; those who dishonor the Son do not honor the Father.

Ἀπεκρίθησαν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι· Οὐ καλῶς λέγομεν ὅτι Σαμαρίτης εἶ καὶ δαιμόνιον ἔχεις; ἀπεκρίθη· Ἐγὼ δαιμόνιον οὐκ ἔχω, ἀλλὰ τιμῶ τὸν πατέρα μου, καὶ ὑμεῖς ἀτιμάζετέ με.
Ὁ τιμῶν τὸν πατέρα δαιμόνιον οὐκ ἔχει· οἱ δὲ ἀτιμάζοντες τὸν υἱὸν οὐ τιμῶσι τὸν πατέρα.
