Εἴπατε ὑμεῖς· Ἡμεῖς ἐκ πορνείας οὐ γεγεννήμεθα· ἕνα πατέρα ἔχομεν τὸν θεόν. εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· Εἰ ὁ θεὸς πατὴρ ὑμῶν ἦν, ἠγαπᾶτε ἂν ἐμέ.

Τὸ δὲ ὑμεῖς ποιεῖτε τὰ ἔργα τοῦ πατρὸς ὑμῶν δηλοῖ πατέρα ἄλλον, οὗ τὰ ἔργα ζητοῦσιν μιμεῖσθαι.
