Signs and wonders; seven sojourns; close of Book 13
You will also inquire into “How he set his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan.” — whether signs and wonders differ in underlying subject, or are the same things under two names.
Let us bring even the thirteenth tome to a close: it has contained the account of Jesus’ sojourns from the beginning through the seventh — first at Bethabara, second at Cana, third down to Capernaum, fourth up to Jerusalem, fifth in the Judean land, sixth in Samaria by Jacob’s spring, seventh again at Cana of Galilee. In the next, God granting, we will take up what he did and said at the Jews’ feast in Jerusalem.
