Homilies on Exodus, Homilia IX · §1

Worthy hearers of the tabernacle

If you worthily understand the exodus, the sea-crossing, and the desert road, receive the law written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God. Then you can build the tabernacle.

Latin

Si digne intelligas exitum et transitum et iter deserti, suscipe legem spiritu Dei vivis scriptam. Tunc tabernaculum aedificare potes.
