XLV. Inter se disputant Theologi Pontificii, An fides, saltem de congruo, non mereatur justificationem. Et quidem eorum nonnulli pretendunt fidem neque de condigno, neque de congruo mereri remissionem peccatorum, & primam quam vocant justificationem, qua homo ex peccatore & non justo fit justus, idque quia Concilium Tridentinum simpliciter excludit a fide meritum justificationis, neque ullam hac in re distinctionem adhibet; qui in sententia est Thomas Stapletonus prolegomenis in librum 5. de Justificatione.
