Demonstration of the Apostolic Preaching · §91

I appeared to those who did not seek me

And the Word himself, in Isaiah, declares that he has made himself visible among us, and that the Son of God, become son of man, is found in the midst of us who formerly were in ignorance: ‘I appeared to those who did not seek me; I was found by those who did not ask for me. I said: Here I am! to a nation that did not call on my name.’ (Isa 65:1; Rom 10:20)
