Demonstration of the Apostolic Preaching · §89

Apostles sent to all nations

Therefore after rising he sent his disciples into the whole world, saying: ‘Go, make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.’ (Mt 28:19-20)

And again: ‘You shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.’ (Acts 1:8) So the preaching went out from Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem, as Isaiah said. (Isa 2:3; Mic 4:2)
