Recapitulation: eighty heresies by book and tome§1
1Returning again, and distributing these by book, I will show in this my recapitulation how many of these eighty heresies are in the first book, and next in the second, as far as the third — and also, for each of the seven tomes composed in the three books, how many heresies are contained in it.
And it is thus: in the first book there are three tomes and forty-six heresies with their names — I mean Barbarism, Scythism, Hellenism, Judaism, and Samaritism; in the second book two tomes and twenty-three heresies; in the third book two tomes and eleven heresies.
So in the first book, first tome, there are twenty heresies, which are these: Barbarism, Scythism, Hellenism, Judaism.

Ἐπανιὼν δὲ αὖθις, καὶ διελὼν ταύτας κατὰ βιβλίον, ὑποδείξω ἐν ταύτῃ μου τῇ ἀνακεφαλαιώσει, πόσαι τούτων τῶν ὀγδοήκοντα αἱρέσεων ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ βιβλίῳ, καὶ καθεξῆς ἐν τῷ δευτέρῳ, ἕως τοῦ τρίτου· ἀλλὰ καὶ καθ᾽ ἕκαστον τῶν ἑπτὰ τόμων, τῶν ἐν τοῖς τρισὶ βιβλίοις συντεταγμένων, πόσαι εἰσὶν αἱ ἐν αὐτῷ χωρηθεῖσαι αἱρέσεις. Καὶ ἔστιν οὕτως· ἐν μὲν τῷ πρώτῳ βιβλίῳ τόμοι τρεῖς, αἱρέσεις δὲ τεσσαρακονταὲξ σὺν ταῖς ὀνομασίαις τούτων· φημὶ δὲ Βαρβαρισμοῦ, καὶ Σκυθισμοῦ, καὶ Ἑλληνισμοῦ, καὶ Ἰουδαϊσμοῦ καὶ Σαμαρειτισμοῦ· ἐν δὲ τῷ δευτέρῳ βιβλίῳ τόμοι δύο, αἱρέσεις εἰκοσιτρεῖς· ἐν δὲ τῷ τρίτῳ βιβλίῳ τόμοι δύο, αἱρέσεις ἕνδεκα.
