Sol. Sound philosophy teaches that more is required as antecedent instruments to produce a work in an external act than as antecedent motives for intending or destinating that work in the operator's mind and will. Argue parallel: the actual building of a house is no more bound than the will to build it; but building is bound to the prior fitting of timbers and stones; therefore the will is bound to all those as antecedents and is born from foresight of them.
