πρὸς ἡμᾶς διὰ τῆς τοῦ Ψάλλοντος φωνῆς· "Ἐγὼ εἶπα· Θεοί ἐστε, καὶ υἱοὶ Ὑψίστου πάντες." Θεὸς οὖν ὑπάρχων ἀλη θινὸς, ὁ μονογενὴς τοῦ Θεοῦ Λόγος, ἔστη ἐν συν αγωγῇ θεῶν. Καὶ ποίων ἄρα θεῶν; Τῶν διὰ τῆς ἱερωσύνης ἀξίωμα τῇ τοῦ Θεοῦ κλήσει τετιμημένων. Οὕτω γὰρ αὐτοὺς καὶ ὁ Παῦλος ὀνομάζει λέγων· "Θεοὺς οὐ κακολογήσεις, καὶ ἄρχοντα τοῦ λαοῦ σου οὐκ ἐρεῖς κακῶς."
