Matthew 22:13
Otherwise he is said to have hands and feet bound as no longer able to do anything good there; for the working of the good extends only as far as the present.

Οὐκ ἂν γένοιτό τις παθῶν ἐλευθέραν εἰς ἅπαν ἔχων ψυχὴν καὶ εἰ σφόδρα τις εἴη τῶν ὅτι μάλιστα φιλοπονωτάτων· "τίς γὰρ καθαρὸς ἀπὸ ῥύπου" κατὰ τὸ γεγραμμένον ἢ "τίς καυχήσεται ἁγνὴν ἔχειν τὴν καρδίαν"; εἰ δὲ καὶ ὁ "πταίσας ἐν ἑνί, γέγονε πάντων ἔνοχος" κατὰ τὸν 26 τοῦ καταγνωσθῆναι λόγον, τίς οὐκ ἂν εὐθύνοι τὸ λοιπὸν τὴν ἐφ' ἑνὶ παρά βασιν οὐδὲ φυγών; οὐδὲ γὰρ ἂν διαδρῴη τὸ κατὰ νοῦν ἁμαρτεῖν καὶ ὁ σφόδρα νηφάλιος. ὅσον οὖν ἧκεν εἰς ἀνθρωπίνην ἀσθένειαν, οὐδεὶς ὁ σῳζόμενος· ὅσον γε μὴν εἰς τὴν τοῦ διασῴζοντος ἡμερότητα, οὐκ ἀπόγνωστος τὴν σωτηρίαν· οὐ γὰρ πᾶσα ἁμαρτία πρὸς θάνατον.
