Matthew 15:31

They had not yet learned the Lord’s dignity — that he is God — but were thinking him a mere human. That is why they were also sending up the glory to the God of Israel.

∆ιὰ τοῦτο ἐν παραβολαῖς λαλεῖ ὁ Χριστός, ἵνα καὶ διὰ τούτων δείξῃ, ὅτι αὐτός ἐστιν ὁ προφητευθείς, περὶ οὗ εἶπεν ∆αυίδ· "ἀνοίξω ἐν παραβολαῖς τὸ στόμα μου" καὶ πάλιν· "καὶ ἔσται ὁ ἄνθρωπος κρύ πτων τοὺς λόγους αὐτοῦ καὶ κρυβήσεται ὡς ἀφ' ὕδατος φερομένου".
