Cyril of Alexandria: Fragments on Matthew · §132

Matthew 12:23–28

“Since,” he says, “I do not cast out the demons by the ruler of the demons — as he showed by saying that every kingdom divided against itself is dissolved and destroyed — then I cast them out by the power of the Spirit, and for that reason the kingdom of God has drawn near.”
