On Adoration and Worship in Spirit and Truth, Book 11 · §29

Close: only holy in Christ may touch the divine altars—Amen

Cyril: So then who is not holy in Christ and if he should not pre-purify, according to whichever manner would be fitting, let him depart far; for not without-penalty will he touch the divine altars.

Palladius: You have spoken most uprightly.

Cyril: To God the glory unto the ages, Amen.
